McFly video banned by TV bosses

McFly’s music video for new single ‘Party Girl’ was initially banned for its graphic content.

The video, which shows the band being seduced by vampires, was eventually re-edited after broadcast officials deemed scenes of flesh eating vampires and images member Harry Judd partially nude too explicit.

Judd told News Of The World, “We definitely like the banned version a lot more. There is a lot more nudity.”

The directors cut of the clip also shows a man being suffocated with a plastic bag and a woman burning to death.

‘Party Girl’ is out now. The band’s as-yet-untitled album follows later this year.

Today McFly’s new music video for single ‘Party Girl’ aired online on MSN.com

McFly have announced their new music video to be online via twitter.

The music video is a mixture of performance scenes and scenes from their upcoming 30-minute film called Nowhere Left To Run.

If you think of McFly and acting, your mind may wander of to Lindsay Lohan’s film Just My Luck where McFly played themselves and made the nation cringe with their acting skills. To our surprise, there was nothing cringe-worthy about their acting in ‘Party Girl’.

The fans’ verdict on McFly’s Party Girl

We all know what the press think of McFly’s new musical direction, but what do the fans think?

At first the fans seemed divided, with everyone either loving it or hating it. While some people were crazy about the new sound, others were likening it to JLS, branding it too different for McFly.

Well now everyone has had time to listen to the track a few times and think it over, we decided to ask the fans for their opinions again, and this time around the reactions seem mostly positive. (more…)
