McFly On the Wall comes to 5*

This fly-on-the-wall six-part documentary series follows the pop band McFly as they embark on their latest tour of major UK arenas, giving
viewers a unique perspective on the highs and lows of life on the road, as well as providing an insight into the workings of one of the most popular bands in the country.

With seven number one singles, eight million records sold worldwide and a fan base that stretches around the globe, the four unassuming British boys have become a dominant pop sensation over the last ten years. As well as a string of chart successes, the band have appeared in a popular feature film and won a BRIT award.

The band recently released their fifth smash-hit album and collaborated with Taio Cruz, one of the hottest dance acts of the decade, to produce the acclaimed single ‘Shine a Light’ –their 15th top five hit. This renewed success in a different direction comes as the group prepares to celebrate a phenomenally successful decade together.

This intimate series follows the lives of Dougie Poynter, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Tom Fletcher in their most revealing portrait yet. “We’re all really excited to have the chance to show our fans what it’s really like being in McFly,” lead vocalist Tom enthuses. “We have a camera crew following us everywhere, so viewers will get a real insight into what goes on behind the scenes,” he adds.
