The Blackout and McFly working together?
Sean Smith of band The Blackout revealed a little too much on twitter today…
We know that Sean Smith and Dougie Poynter are, well, good mates, and that Jason Perry is The Blackout’s producer as well as McFly’s producer.
It’s Sean’s tweet to Dougie that caught our attention this afternoon. After Dougie tweeted about his third day on their video shoot, Sean replied: “@dougiemcfly youre throwing a party AND doing a video AND i didnt get an invite? you’ve changed bro! take my parts off the album!”
That last sentences indicates that Sean has ‘parts’ on McFly’s new album. What exactly, no one knows!
Next Monday McFly will be at Wigan. Tom announced that it might be the last time they play their “radio:ACTIVE set that we’ve been doing for a while.” Thank God, we’re ready for something new!

McFly shoot music video with a difference
McFly ARE shooting a new music video – but with a twist.
Of course this is McFly we are talking about, so we don’t know what the twist is.
We reported yesterday that McFly were filming something, and that we thought it was a new music video.
Tom Fletcher tweeted: ‘It’s music video…but not like a normal music video…’

McFly are currently filming – could it be the music video to accompany their new single?

The lastest batch of tweets from Camp McFly suggest a new vid is on the way.

McFly’s new single will be released in September
Reports are suggesting that McFly’s long awaited new single will be released in September this year.
Sugarscape reported that Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd would be back with their new single at the beginning of September – however at this point they had no further information.
According to Play.com, McFly’s new album is due for release on August 23rd 2010.
Several new McFly songs have already leaked onto the internet.

Even more McFly music leaks from new album
Even more tracks from McFly’s upcoming album are being passed around between fans.
You’ve got to feel sorry for the boys, after yet another new track makes it’s way onto YouTube.
Dragon Ball (now also on YouTube) is one of a rumoured eight tracks to have made their way on to the net – possibly at the hands of a hacker.
The fans are divided into three groups: those who love the new tunes, those who don’t like the new tunes because they’re ‘not McFly’ and those who refuse to listen to the music until it is released officially. (more…)
