McFly record new album made on Welsh island
IMAGINE an island where the only residents are the four lovely boys from McFly.
Imagine no more. The boys have taken over a tiny Welsh island to record their new album.
They are using a studio that becomes detached from the mainland during high tides.
“It’s great,” says 24-year-old Dougie Poynter. “There’s no way out when the tide’s in. We don’t get distracted. Then as soon as the tide goes out we can go to the shops.”
Rock ’n’ roll, boys.

McFly’s stay on Anglesey to write new material
MEMBERS of one of the UK’s most popular bands used Anglesey’s coastline as inspiration for their new material.
Three of pop-rock band McFly reportedly stayed in Rhoscolyn over the weekend to begin writing new songs for their next album. They have enjoyed chart hits with songs such as It’s All About You and Obviously.
Dougie Poynter, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones were spotted in Tesco Holyhead by several lucky shoppers on Friday afternoon.
The group kept fans up to date by posting photos and comments on Twitter throughout their trip.

McFly have been approached by both the BBC and ITV to front their own Saturday night variety show.

Both the BBC and ITV have reportedly expressed an interest in the ‘Star Girl’ hitmakers – made up of Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones – in the hope of capitalising on the success of Harry’s victory on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and Dougie being crowned King of the Jungle on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’.
An insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: “There has been significant interest from the main broadcasters and a number of production companies about a show.”

McFly Offered Record Deal ‘Worth Millions’ Following Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter Success

Harry Judd’s victory on Strictly Come Dancing and Dougie Poynter’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here win will translate into a megabucks record deal for their band McFly, according to reports.
The four-piece, who also include Tom Fletcher and former Popstar To Operastar contestant Danny Jones, are expected to be raking in the cash when their current deal comes to an end in the Spring.
The Sun alleges that the band’s new offer is “worth millions”, and that both ITV and the BBC are keen to get the group on board for a new TV project.
Harry, 25, has also apparently been flooded with modelling offers, after flashing the flesh on a weekly basis on the BBC dancing contest.

Mcfly Launch Contest To Find Support Act
British boy band Mcfly have launched a contest to find undiscovered talent to support them on their upcoming U.K. tour.
The Obviously hitmakers are hitting the road in Britain next spring (12), and they’re hunting for groups or solo artists to warm up the crowds for them.
Singer Tom Fletcher tells British TV host Lorraine Kelly, “We’re going to have a different band support us every night on tour. They can be unsigned, signed, solo artists, girl bands. They can sign up from today on MCFly.com and they need to get as many votes as possible.
“We’ve done something similar in the past where we have had local bands support us, but it gives bands a chance to play shows.”

McFly’s Danny Jones hosts pool party at ‘X Factor’ house
McFly’s Danny Jones hosted a pool party for the X Factor Top 16 last night.
Held at the finalists’ £6 million Hertfordshire mansion, Jones’s frolics with the contestants will be shown on this weekend’s Xtra Factor.
The Circus of Horror also provided entertainment during the evening.
The party allowed the final 16 a chance to bond and celebrate Rhythmix band member Leigh Anne Pinnock’s birthday.
